Pet Funerals

Losing a pet can be one of the most difficult things that we have to deal with.  Saying goodbye to your devoted friend is a very painful experience.  In many cases, this will be the first time that a child encounters death and may be very confused by the loss.

By holding a pet funeral or memorial, not only do you get the opportunity  to say goodbye  but you can help your child to adjust to not having their companion and understand where they have gone to.

This can be a very difficult and emotional time for you.  I understand this, so provide a sympathetic and caring service, giving you with a ceremony filled with meaning and love.  Using a celebrant allows to have a service written especially for you, which can include religion*, poetry, prose or music suited to your taste and wishes.

*a Humanist will not include any religious wording or symbolism

 

The charge for my services starts at £335

This includes:

​

• A 2-hour face to face meeting with you

• Delivering the service

• We will work together to create a unique service

• I can guide you on appropriate readings and prose

• We will have contact after our initial meeting via phone, email or Skype

• Edits of the script are included in the price

• final approval of the service is yours

• A bound copy of your ceremony

• I can adapt my style of dress to fit the occasion if required

• Location within a 30-mile radius of Hertfordshire*.

I am able to offer a hardback 'coffee table' style book personally created for you to remember the event.  Price on application.

*Travel/accommodation expenses may be added dependent on location.  Please note, a 25% deposit is required at the first meeting
