Memorials and Scattering or Burial of Ashes

Having a memorial service is a wonderful way to show your continued love and respect for loved ones passed.  Together, you, your family and friends can keep the memory alive and share the love for the departed.  Working with you, I can create  a service written especially for you, which can include religion*, poetry, prose or music suited to your taste and wishes. 

*a Humanist will not include any religious wording or symbolism

 

The charge for my services starts at £230

• A 2-hour face to face meeting with you (or via the internet or telephone during Covid if you prefer)

• Delivering the service

• I will work with you to create a unique service for you and your family, the final approval of the service is yours

• I can guide you on appropriate readings and prose if required

• We will have contact after our initial meeting via phone, email or the internet (Zoom, Skype, etc.)

• Edits of the script are included in the price

• I will give you an individual presentation of your service, with space for cards and mementos

• I can provide music for outside services

• If you have any special requests, my style of dress can reflect the occasion

• Prayers can be included in the service (a Humanist will not be able to do this)

• Location within a 30-mile radius of Hertfordshire*

Optional services of a professional photographer can be arranged if required (price not included in the £230).  This is proving popular at the moment for people who are unable to attend the service. Images are supplied on a USB flash drive and can be viewed privately by a password protected link online.  I also offer a hardback 'coffee table' style book personally created for you to remember the event.  Price on application.

Please note, a 50% deposit is required at the first meeting
